Software Licensing Agreement
ActionBoards is not stand-alone software, it is an Add-on for Blender and requires a compatible version of Blender, which must be obtained separately by the user. ActionBoards v1.3 is currently compatible with Blender v4.0.2+, v4.1+, and v4.2.2+. With purchase of a perpetual ActionBoards User License you will receive all updates and patches as they are made available.
ActionBoards consists of two key components (1) Python Code, and (2) Package Assets. All Python Codes and Package Assets are the copyright of Andrew Komer. Together they create the contents of the ‘Install Package’.
‘Python Code’ is any python script contained in the add-on, whereas ‘Package Assets’ are the non-script components of the add-on. ‘Package Assets’ include but are not limited to; blend files, artwork, logos, and rigs. It is prohibited to redistribute, resell, or modify any elements of the Install Package. Likewise, no assets may be created to interface with the Python Code that serve the same or similar functionality to Package Assets.
The User License grants a single-user perpetual use of the ActionBoards add-on, and is non-transferable. The single-user is the purchaser of the add-on. This License is only valid if purchased from Andrew Komer, or from a storefront officially operated by his company FunPix. Without a valid User License, you are prohibited from using ActionBoards and installing its contents into Blender and/or any other software.
Holders of this ActionBoards License are allowed to use the add-on for personal use, and self-employ commercial work only. A Studio Use License is required to use ActionBoards for commercial use in a studio / production company setting. Only individuals can obtain this Single User License, companies and corporations must acquire a separate Studio License to use ActionBoards. Holders of this license are not allowed to use alternatively licensed versions of ActionBoards, unless they have been granted permission to do so by Andrew Komer.
For information on obtaining alternative licenses, e-mail contact@funpix.ca with the heading ‘ACTIONBOARDS LICENSING’.
